Hope Neighborhood Learning Center is a 501(c)(3) community development non-profit dedicated to transforming the lives of young people. We believe that every child deserves the tools to succeed, and we provide a supportive environment where they can overcome obstacles and discover their potential.
We are on a mission to eradicate illiteracy and democratize learning. Our Hope Literacy program provides a safe, inspiring space for children to overcome academic challenges, master foundational skills like phonics, and reignite their passion for lifelong learning. Through initiatives like our Hope Reads app, we ensure that cost is never a barrier to becoming a confident reader.
Looking toward the future, our Hope Tech program introduces students to the world of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). We don't just teach students how to use technology; we teach them how to create it. Students learn 21st-century coding and design skills by building their very own platformer games, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and technical confidence.
